The food was very delicious, I initially wanted to take photos of the food we ordered. All it took was one bite, and I lost all control. Highly recommended place and best of all very affordable.

The food and the service has been great on every occasion, and very inexpensive. They're great at holding large events and maintaining service and quality.
The last time I visited was quite a while ago. It had a different name, different management, and different service staff. So, I assume it also had different management (though it has always been Mexican food). The menu is quite similar to what it was previously. The salsa served with chips and upon request for your meal, is not only new, it is significantly tastier than before. The food was pretty good as well, though I would not call it excellent. The quantities were large, but I still felt somewhat expensive. However, my largest complaint was with the service. I will have to return to determine if that is an ongoing problem or just an off day. It was slow and had to ask repeatedly for several items. If you were lucky enough to be close to the kitchen area, you had no problem. One time I asked the other waitress to bring something I had asked for several times. Her reply, \She hasn't brought that to you yet? \ I found very odd. No ma'am, that is why I am still asking. I am sure we will go back, though not in a rush to do so. It is clean and close to home, but there are better deals and service to be found in the Cedar Hill and Desoto area.
Great little privately owned Mexican restaurant. Meal came with free chips, questions and salsa. Monterrey chicken was well seasoned and very filling. An unexpected gem.
Really really good food. One would expect only great Mexican food but the Chicken Fried Steak was wonderful! Friendly service and food made from scratch, can't give it anything but 5 stars.
