Everything I look for in a restaurant...not pretentious, good music (but soft enough to not overpower), great food, and great service. I was dining on my own, and they let me order half portions of most dishes so I could try more items. Whereas other restaurants in Beaune sit solo diners at the worst table near the kitchen door, La Lune was welcoming and sat me at the chef's table (so you're not staring at couples on a romantic night out). The format also allows for you to order as you go, so you are not pressured into committing to every course. Merci for a lovely dinner!

Hands down one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. It is a very small space with only one server and the chef, no other staff around. This makes for a very intimate experience. Excellent wine and absolutely delicious food. We had several different dishes all of which were amazing. We'd go here any time again.
We just had an excellent meal there. The food was delicious and prepared right under our noses. Seeing a dish from raw materials to a scrumptious piece of art was like watching a magician at work. We especially loved the turbot and pigeon. Reserve well ahead!
Wonderful intimate restaurant with a friendly and welcoming feel. Extensive choice of local wines and great sharing plates of French-Japanese fusion, we defiantly didn't leave hungry! We had a later booking (9.30) and the place was still busy and vibrant when we left. Would definitely return.
I'm usually not an Asian fusion person, but this restaurant exceeded my expectation. I came here twice over a period of 4 years and couldn't believe that the quality was as good as I remembered. Both times were recommended by the locals, too. Service is always friendly and thoughtful. There is only one Japanese chef but all dishes come out at the perfect time and tasted fresh. The place is very cozy and popular so I'd highly recommend a reservation!
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is heavenly and the chef is amazing. If you like French-Japanese fusion, try their fried chicken, tuna tartare or our favorite dish - the pigeon. The service is also excellent!
Probably the best food we had in Burgundy during our stay! Fantastic dishes, super service, amazing location and phenomenal wine list! You need a reservation, but if you visit Beaune you HAVE to come to this restaurant, just be sure to call them one week in advance!
We could only get a reservation at 10 pm but it was so worth it still to go!! One of my favorite meals to date. Fantastic food overall - the fried chicken and tuna tartare were the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely visit Beaune again just to eat here again.
