Marvellous restaurant. Fine dining. The restaurant setting is lovely: relax but elegant. The service was attentive. The hostess was charming. The food was excellent. He is a very good chef. We were very impressed. The flavours, the presentation and the originality of the dishes were all very impressive.

Amazing food - interesting tastes, lovely presentation and delicious! Left very full and I like a decent portion - have seen some reviews complaining about portion sizes, but when food is this rich and delicious you don't need a huge portion! Really comfortable and classy decor. Service was relaxed and friendly had a lovely chat with the staff - didn't feel 'over served' or watched like I have in some high end restaurants, which I hate! Had a fab time, wish I lived closer to take advantage of the brilliant locals menu offers - love this aspect as it makes good business sense and you should always look after the people on your doorstep who will keep coming back (nb the locals menu was available to everyone eating!) Thank you!
Wonderful taster menus and wine flight. Really appreciated the imagination that went into providing such lovely dishes for our different dietary needs (including vegan and pescatarian). Look forward to returning again soon!

We had the tasting menu with matching drinks and on the whole the taste was fantastic. We would have preferred a larger main course and a lighter pre pudding. As it was, the end of the meal ended up being quite heavy. In addition we waited quite a long time for the main course and the upper floor of the restaurant was unbelievably hot. Hence only 3 stars.
