This is a good way to try out Lappish food. Didn’t know what to expect before we walk in. But the inside looks and feels so much better than outside. I have to say Lappish food is not for everyone. We liked some, but not all. However, our purpose here was to have a chance to try different food. Check out the buffet before you order. Some of us had the buffet and loved it. Others did not want those and ordered from the menu. Overall, a good experience for everyone.

Authentic Finnish food. It was so tasty and the reindeer cooked to perfection. The fish boat starter buffet was delicious. The hosts/servers were very polite and helpful
Loved it! Recreates the diet of northern Laplanders with an authentic ambiance and friendly service. I tried the reindeer with ligonberry and was very impressed. Highly recommend a visit to Saaga when you’re in Helsinki!

Enter this Lappish restaurant and you enter in another world. It feels cozy and nice, the decoration is made of stag's woods and fur, wooden polls and Lappish art. The staff all dress in traditional outfit is friendly and chatty. And the reindeer shank was delicious, so tender. Really good evening
Very friendly staff !! The food seemed authentic Finnish and I enjoyed the experience. The staters was bear and the main course was reindeer. I never had bear and reindeer but the tasted great.
Good atmosphere, great food! Menu consists mainly of reindeer and fish. Basically, you have to choose the fish table for starters, and then make the choice whether to eat main course or just a dessert. You can also try bear meet from kuksa. Which will be an experience if you haven't tasted game meat before.
Somebody suggested me this restaurant in order to try something typically Finnish. Considering that the person was 100% Finnish, I went straight forward, and it was a great idea! Maybe slightly expensive for my standard, BUT considering the atmosphere, the service and the food, it's fully justified. 9/10 definitely should get back there
