What a discovery! We came here totally randomly, brought by the good ratings on Google and others. We didn't know what to expect, and everything was just awesome. Perfect service, great terrace, and the food... just incredible. I had the salmon and the trout - so good! A must in Strasbourg.

Very good quality food. The service is excelent, they offer a wide range of small apetisrrs on the house and pamper you the whole time. I took the 4 course Paisir menu, which was great except forbthe fish dish with spinack and safran sauce. Compared to the other creations it felt saltless and honestly boring. The langustine tartar blew me away. They also offered us a warm salty brioche with a sweet potato moose that was absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recomand this restaurant for gourmand expectations on a somewhat budget.

I rate my experience at les plaisirs gourmands 8/10 for a diner menu of 5 courses 68 euros. Satisfying but not \wow\ kind, in terms of value for money i recommend more their lunch menu. Place 8/10: small restaurant situated 10mins by car from the train station of Strasbourg, simple decoration, pretty garden, good cutlery choice and table setting. Food 8/10: appetizer creamy butternut squash soup, entrée crab meat with Yuzu Sauce (ok but less impressive than i thought it would be), turbot with mussel and saffron sauce (good), filet of beef with patato soufflé, purée of horn of plenty and emulsion of chive (delicious!) Dessert fig from the garden with cream cheese sorbet (the fig is delicious!) Nice food presentation. Service: 8/10 nice service except one negative point: the waiteress was chatting too long with other clients when i have asked for the bill and need to leave fast. She could have asked her collegue to handle my billing (who was also there but did not interfere) the chef accompanied us out. Total score 8/10

My best meal in a long time. What a surprise. Went there on a Saturday evening after having desperately looking for a free table somewhere. Lost in a no-charm zone and found this gem. Tiny room (16 seats max), a bit vintage but still classy. And what a menu! All home-made and seasonal but still broad choice - go beyond what is posted outside, there is plenty more inside. All perfect, tasty, french gastronomy at its best. Great place. (Only downside: the music... Classical pop, doesn't really fit the place but soft enough to not be disturbing, just surprising)
