The food here is fantastic. Been for the last three years whilst driving through France. The menu is seasonal always something different. Great wine menu with plenty of local choice and service always good. Plenty of outdoor seating in the summer looking out onto the river which is good.

Amazing place to rest after a nice ride or wine tasting
Excellent atmosphere, the Eel starter, steak and fish special was amazing, easily the best meal of the holiday. The menus are in both French and English, if you speak in French they will reply in French (with any needed prompts, hints, transnationals for anything you don't know)
We discovered La Route du Sel this past weekend and, believe me, we will return again and again. The cuisine is creative and accessible. My smoked eel plat was fantastic! The wine was great. The setting is magnificent!
