I don’t understand the negativity. We ate a magnificent meal there in July 2020. We were welcomed warmly before entering, served attentively throughout and enjoyed a gamut of delicacies (oysters, fish soup, octopus). Excellent wine list too, we took a 2015 Chablis. I am pretty demanding yet would return here in a heartbeat. Great place

Nice, but not perfect! The restaurant has a nice location. The quality of the food is very good, but the style is a little bit old school. From our point of view there are better choice of restaurants in La Rochelle.

We have reserved our places by phone, and when we went, we found a very disrespectful persons an bad service. It looks like you are bothering them. I prefer to by bread and water from supermarket than going back to this restaurant.

The set menu is excellent value, especially the shellfish starter! Make sure you try the 'bulot' (whelks). Sea bass was nicely done and the kids menu was v generous for our little one. You can't beat the location if you're coming from the aquarium. I think the owner's comments to those who gave 1 star are probably deserved!

Very beautiful restaurant, close to the old port. Fresh fish and beef steak. Prices from 27 euros for a menu with starter and main dish. Wine from 20 euros a bottle or 4 euros a glass. The atmosphere is really nice.

So good they have vegan options! The quinoa paella is delicious ! To share! Great service!
