I have already been at the original Himalaya restaurant before which was amazing so I wanted to try this one out before the new lockdown. It is first of all unfortunate that the restaurant is a bit hidden instead of either in one of the main roads or on it as some people will never see it. The reason is that it is a hidden gem. The interior of the restaurant is pretty, the portions are big and the food is excellent. From the starter to the main dish everything just tasted very good for normal prices. I can without a doubt count it among the four best Indians that I have so far been to in this country.
Absolutely Not worth the price. Despite of Ordering less spicy food, I got a food with lot of green chilly pieces. It was extremely spicy, could not even complete the food. The food quality was not good too. Potatoes were uncooked. Strong Advise ot to waste your time here. It is super expensive for the quality of food and ambience they are providing.
I don't know what happened lately but it went from bad to worse! Prices have raised drastically while the quality and the service dropped in the same proportion. A piece of butter not melted in the sauce, a teeny tiny portion of mango chutney for your nan bread. When eating, nobody cares and they are gathering at the bar checking their phones. We also asked the remainings to take away and once home, we realised that half of it was not there. It used to be a nice place to eat out but since March this year, they are miles away from the initial quality, price and service. Extremely disappointing!
I've been eating chicken makhani in all over Europe, HK, Singapore, Bangkok and India. It's nowhere as tasty as here - gotta try it!!!
Disappointing. The food lacked flavor, which is so sad for Indian food. I had to return the soup for being excessively oily. The person who served did not speak English or French so that was also a bit weird..
Nice place, with a wide variety of tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. It's in a very calm neighbourhood, which is nice if you want to walk around without a specific purpose :p
Very good an genuine feeling food served by friendly staff.
