Visited on Friday night and it was very busy but even though the service was fast and efficient. Bit of a squeeze getting in and out as tables close together and limited access. Food was tasty and would certainly recommend the herrings (in any form). Access to the bathrooms is down a narrow and fairly steep metal staircase so the infirm could have difficulties. All in all though a great experience.
Smørrebrød was really good But pancakes so/so
We enjoyed a rainy evening in the park on an August evening and had dinner in the park at Groften. It has a really neat floor plan where it's lower in the middle and raised around the sides in it's own little glass and wood box with art deco style ceilings and decor with a danish flare. The food was really good (we got the potato soup, filleted salmon and beers). The host gave us options when choosing where we would like to sit (big plus for me). Our waitress was the absolute sweetest; pregnant, lost her mom this year, and just bought a home. It was nice chatting with her and her warm personality and about the world. Love Danish people and places!
