After 6 months away because of the virus we returned to Arles and Els Simiots. Great to see Lily and Wim have refurbished the place and it looks superb. What hasn't changed is the food and service. Beautiful freshly cooked Catalan and other styles. Opted for the delicious burger with fresh veg. My wife who is vegetarian was well catered for. Lily and Wim as ever welcoming and made our return and evening very special.

We have had several burger takeaways over the last couple of months and can highly recommend the quality and quantity of food, value for money and very friendly owners and staff. Will be booking a table soon now that lockdown restrictions have been eased and looking forward to a steak and dessert.

Highly recommended. Booked the previous evening and I informed them I was a Coeliac and enquired if their menu was suitable for me. Told there were numerous options. When we arrived the chef had prepared a special gf dish for me and I was informed by the lovely waitress that I was not obliged to order that. I did and it was very nice. Most of their dishes are gf adaptable anyway. When speaking to the chef later, he said once he knows in advance of ANY dietery requirements, he is very happy to facilitate.another bonus is they speak fluent English. And as we were eating outside and worried about the mosquitos, as they seem to love the Irish blood, we were given anti mosquito spray. What a service!

Delicious french cooking with a touch of Catalan. Some French classics on the menu - the tart tatin was delicious! Good choice of local too.
