This is amongst Joyce' choices. What a picturesque restaurant! Along the Oise river in a famous swimming area inaugurated by Tarzan in 1946. I live in Paris next to the swimming pool he got his Olympic gold medal in1924 at the piscine Tourelles at the Porte de Lilas. Follow in Tarzan's footsteps. Great qualité / prix and at lunch during the week they have a menu for 18/19 euros.

Great spot. Came here on the recommendation of our \off the beaten path\ tour guides, and L'Ebauchoir did not disappoint. Appetizers and main dishes were rich and delicious, comfort food style. Dessert was AMAZING. We ordered the strawberry cake to share, but I wish we had each ordered our own! Service was kind and attentive and prices were very reasonable. Also-- cool concept. They have several wines on the menu for which you only \pay for what you drink\. They bring the entire bottle to your table, so you can feel free to drink it all or just a couple glasses. For two, that's awesome.
