We went to this lovely restaurant last Friday to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The food was delicious and well priced. We loved the restaurant decorations and even more after the owner told us that he has done all the decorations and even the painting of the walls. He was very charming and attentive, to the point of lighting up a candle and putting birthday music for my husband. Thanks for making the evening so special!

Cozy Mediterranean restaurant with friendly staff. I had the vegetarian menu with eggplant caviar and ratatouille. The eggplant caviar was fresh and light, while the ratatouille was warm and filling. Very reasonable prices, and a decent number of vegetarian choices!

Very nice restaurant. The food was really delicious, and freshly prepared. I wish I could go back on a regular basis. The restaurant owner is good to talk to as well. I would return whenever I am next in Nice.

Very well cooked and seasoned food. A must go if you’re vegan or vegetarian. The guy who owns the restaurant is really personable and friendly, as well as an excellent cook. Managing this restaurant all by himself is very impressive, brilliant service too! It was that good, we ended up going 2 nights out of our 5 night holiday. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We had a great vegan meal at Restaurant Alounak. While they serve non-vegan meals, we were excited about the fact that their menu consisted of a handful of vegan appetizers and a choice of 3 or 4 different main meals that are vegan. Vegan dessert is also available. Service was great and our meals were delicious!

Very enjoyable meal, tasty, well-cooked and well presented by the host-chef-waiter. Yes, just one person who was so friendly. Vegan food options were very good. Will visit again when in Nice. Please give it a go.

Excellent food of North-African flavour. Lamb and chicken are served in several ways but there are also many options for vegans on the menu. The restaurant is located a few steps away from the main tourist tracks but it is easy to find.
