Great free camping! The shower and toilet was clean, well equipped and the water was warm. Really appreciate the kind gesture of this free facility, very heart warming

Spot is lovely, right next to the river and near the town. The toilets and showers were clean and well provisioned. It's truly wonderful finding a free designated camping spot. Very beautiful and with a pizza place literally 1 minute walk away. According to signage there, you must ask permission from the town council. This we couldn't do, as they're only open a very short part of the day on weekdays and not at all during the weekend, we arrived on a Saturday. The tourist information also wasn't open at any reasonable hours, so we had to go without. Another thing to mention is that the field showed clear signs of recent flooding, there were muddy tidelines on all the grass and trees and the grass was pretty muddy too. Make sure to check the recent weather before committing to staying here. Other than that, would definitely recommend!

Heerlijk vrij plekje wel wat verkeers lawaai. Valt s nachts mee. Mooi aan de Donau Radweg.
