I have been coming here 10 years. i could not be happier with the staff or the service. I am a victim of their great service. I used to be able to get instant help but as their business has grown, it takes a little longer to get repairs or appointments. Its worth it though, I am not complaining.

After working in television and film production for many years, wearing a headphone became second nature. Like rock musicians and telephone operators, I suffered a hearing loss: sounds became difficult to separate. To correct the problem a supportive hearing device was prescribed by Kaiser Permanente's audiologist. An appointment was scheduled for me at HearUSA, a service company that specializes in products for the hearing impaired. I was greeted and immediately shown into a quiet room. After answering a few questions, the technician examined my ear canals, then placed me into an isolation chamber. An isolation chamber is kind of like a large refrigerator with a couple of windows and lots of padding to dampen outside sounds. It's totally echo free. Erie. I place the headphones on my ears and adjusted the chair to the microphone. Tones are played, into each ear, at different frequencies: sometimes loud, sometimes impossible to hear. I responded when hearing the tone. Testing took about 20 minutes and showed that my hearing loss is borderline. Hearing support, with the current technology, would provide only minimal aid and was not recommended. They could have sold an expensive hearing device, but didn't. A couple years have passed. I have had several audiometry evaluations. (Enough to learn the test's proper name.) The procedures showed no additional hearing loss. It's wonderful when a company cares more about the patient than about profit. If, or more likely when, a supportive device is needed, HearUSA will be my first choice. Parking is free. Everything is ADA compliant. Incidentally, there's a wonderful coffee shop/bakery (Roladin) next door.

Wonderful Care, I was a little reluctant to consider wearing a hearing aid but the Hear USA staff has been wonderful with my questions and issues. Couldn't ask for a better experience, I know of many companies that would profit from the total customer service approach the Hear USA has.
