Most awful hateful company. Paid my grandmother's gas bill, found out it wasn't blowing heat. called back and got on the phone with a lady named cherelle. Said she couldn't help us or speak to us. My grandma has dementia, we just got back to take care of her. They'll let us make a 200 dollar payment but can't help us keep it on.

Extremely Frustrated with MGE, Moved out of my rental over a year and half ago and just got a phone call from a debt collector to pay my outstanding balance... to make matters worse it was on my work phone. My question is they had my current address when they spoke to me so why was I never notified there by letter? Second they had my personal cell phone number why was I never notified there....almost two freaking years that's ridiculous. To add to the matter, I had to call to get it shut off anyway so why didn't they tell me that balance when I called then? Unbelievable. It was for 22 freaking dollars and I paid right there for it clearly If I didn't have that money I would avoid it but I did so MGE/SPIRE make a phone call or send a letter rather than waiting 2 years....
Payment for Bills have to be mailed in or called in.
