I would love to tell you great the food was and how great the service was, but since I'm still waiting on a call back for my table 16 hours later I'll never know. I went in, was told the wait would be 45 min - 60 min., put my name in the list and was told they would call when the table was ready. After 1.5 hours I went back in to make sure they had my info and number correct and was told very dismissively that they would call me when my table was ready and I have yet to receive that call. I'm just disappointed in a place to get such high reviews to not even get step 1 right. I had a feeling it would be bad from the first person who took my info. I have been trying to support more local businesses, but this one won't make the list.

Tasty AYCE in Reno! Because it’s an All You Can Eat restaurant, the sushi quality is not as high as other restaurants but is a GREAT location to get your money’s worth for eating a stomach full of sushi! Would recommend Tokyo Sushi for AYCE sushi in Reno!
Small place so check in ahead as it gets full fast. Best mussels in town. And overall quality food. Have no complaints for food. Only small issue was no call in reservations and 2 hour wait when we were told 1 hour. Hopefully it gets better once we are past this Covid.
The baked muscles left much to be desired. They tasted way too sweet for my liking and they were cold when they came to the table. Everything else I ordered tasted fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.
Service is good. Sushi is great. Lunch hour is busy. Environment is okay. Menu is easy to read. Sushi restaurant playing 80s rock is just weird. But over all a pleasant experience! A must try if you are craving sushi.
