Dorothy and Karl are one of a kind humans. Their dedication to vintage train arts here in Northern NV has brought joy, laughter and awe into the hearts of many. Their miniature train set up and displays made it feel like you were stepping into a portal of creativity and magic. Thank you both for your wit, your humor and your love of trains. Great collection! I'm an O Scale Railroader and am very happy with the selection - prices are good too, and the owners are willing to negotiate on many things, especially when buying in multiple quantities. This will be my go-to shop for track, accessories, and anything else I need.
Love this place. It's like a perpetual swap meet, never know what you will find. Friendly owners! Just wish they were open SUNDAY so we could stop on the way out of Nevada, because we always arrive in Reno too late to stop on the way into Town.
Not very helpful people especially if you are into n scale, don't waste your time. Also noticed their pricing for used stuff is a little high. Reminded me a lot of a pawn shop atmosphere.
Small privately owned model railroad shop. Limited hours. Lots of variety for the HO Scale collector. Pretty neat stuff.
Yet another local train store has closed its doors. While the Pride of Reno was in full tilt; this icon sashade quietly into the night.
