This company is horrible to work for, and provides a terrible service. The owner believes he's doing a "good deed" by hiring people of his religious background, and/or that have fallen on hard times. Then he proceeds to pay unlivable wages, and forces them to work a chaotic on-call schedule; where every shift is at a different location. The clients that contract ESI get what they pay for. You want 10 men? Good - you'll get 7 with an attitude, and a lazy manager that does what he wants. If employees buck or quit: the owner threatens to slander their name with his "connections around town." When I left the company, he was in the process of passing it down to his son. Please do yourself a favor and file bankruptcy instead. Employees: get a real job. Clients: get a real security service.
The Dispatcher Handle my concerns with one of their security officers with politeness & professionalism. Most of my interactions with their employees over all been good.
ESI is always hiring. Very flexible schedule and interesting work.
On 3 different occasions I saw the security guard not wearing a mask! He wouldn’t give me his name it was between 1600-1630! I’m immunocompromised and that is very dangerous for me! He’s claiming he was having a cup of coffee but as a professional courtesyhe should have went somewhere else
I have mixed feelings regarding some of the workers from this company. Some are pleasant & attentive to problems at locations. While others at the same locations on different days, are complacent about any problems.
I am posting anonymously. I am an employee. I like the flexibility of work but don't like the lack of breaks. You are legally allowed to have a 30 minute lunch if working 8 hours but you don't always get breaks
