I enjoy living here. It's quiet, off the beaten path, and not that far from a lot of amenities. The house needs some renovation but it's overall a good place to live.

This review is for 29 Vista Rafael Parkway, Reno NV, 89503. The place is in a decent area but not the best quality!! The rent is overpriced at 1100.00 and after speaking to the neighbors, they all paid less than that at 900.00, it's small with very few perks for the price. It has the worst plumbing that I have ever seen and all of the repairs made are done so as cheap as they possibly can. It started with the plumbing, starting on Thanksgiving of 2019, the kitchen flooded and it turned out to be a huge leak in the pipes within the cabinets, which at that point the interior area in the cabinets had molded and had to be removed. Mold tests had to be done and when those came back negative, the drywall had to be replaced along with the pipes. We literally had no kitchen for over 2 months and the landlord was stringing us along not really giving us much information about anything. After that the master bathroom also had a leak and after the landlord's husband attempted to fix it, it actually flooded. It turned out the tank for the toilet had been cracked, spilling water flooding the bathroom. All of this was a huge inconvenience for several months, people in and out. Eagle's Nest is also ruled by HOA, which does very little to keep the place in shape. The whole building needs to be renovated and the plumbing is terrible, when one of the top units has a plumbing problem, the bottom units flood. Tom, the manager and one of the HOA bottom members is horrible and very rude. RENTERS BEWARE of this place!!!
Should be condemned in my opinon* This place has serious ventilation issues, (health hazard if you ask me) you are practically living in each others units; for example: downstairs smell very bad, dirty individuals, their smells will seap upstairs through vents. They start a fire in their fire place, the upstairs unit will fill with smoke! Too many animals and people jammed into units. Smokers going all day right outside windows, people on drugs. Dog poop everywhere, cars getting broken into and vandalized- it's not a good place to live. The hoa does nothing. 5 years ago it was ok, now...I would have the bbb check into it.
A nice place, quiet and no riff Raff or outside traffic. However management as well as the association are not what they should be. They're selective as to whom the rules apply and if you complain or have issues they turn on you. There are no minorities here and they're not gay friendly. My experience here tells me that's not by accident. Its a neat place but not worth the bs and selective treatment. Perhaps a change in staff and those in power would make it a nice place to be. Too many other places to choose from...I wouldn't include this place in my list of hopefuls.
Great views! Close to town. 2 swimming pools. Water heat and hot water included.
