Another of the fine Musée des Beaux Arts featured in many of the major cities of France, with art from ancient Egypt to the modern day. Well laid out and very informative (although only in French). Very easy to spend 2-3 hours there.

Great Museum. Unfortunately Temporary Exhibition is not open yet, but quit few very interesting art works as contemporary collection. Helpful staff. Will visit again.
Must visit! The use of light and background wall colour to enhance the paintings is commendable!
I highly recommend visiting this museum. At first I thought it had only abstract paintings which I don't like, but it had a lot more. There are Egyptian mommies, Roman history... And the paintings are just impressive, woow.
I enjoyed the exposition on women's emancipation through art. Camille Claudel's famous pieces were exposed as well as other sculptures and paintings. There are other beautiful pieces of art both modern and classic exposed in this museum. Every first Sunday of the month is free entry.
Great museum to visit, objects from ancient Egypt and modern art. Posters in English would be great for foreigners. :)
When I visited it wasn't busy and that made the experience even better. There's a lot to see and most of it is very interesting. There's a layout which might be challenging for the less cartography-gifted people like me but eventually you'll get a hang of the layout.
Great museum to go to. They have both classic and modern pieces. It’s a fun thing to do on a dreary day.
