Reasons I am disappointed with a Laurier kitchen; 1) we bought our kitchen June/July 2019 and final installation was only completed in early March 2020. - yes my husband and I did leave for two months in late Dec until mid Feb because, well, we thought our kitchen would be done. 2) we sent photos of poor craftmanship and received no response. 3) The kitchen in my old home easily supported raising a family with minimal issues for 11 years and the family before that had it for several years. Now in my new Laurier kitchen, it is just my husband and I and our Laurier kitchen has become a realized temporary kitchen. We were hoping to retire, but we will need to work longer to buy another kitchen. 4) No one is allowed in our Laurier kitchen but my husband and I. Company must ask us for a glass because it is so fragile. For example; Our microwave has caused distress on the shelf and my natural finger nail touched a drawer causing damage. 5) the counter cut of the island is very undesirable. 6) my fault, but I also wish designers were more aware of accessibility designs which we told them was very important. The island could have been made larger and perhaps offered more accessibility options. They simply didnt understand. 7) I am very embarrassed, sad and angry that I spent 22,000 on cheap fragile cabinets, poor design in a very tiny kitchen. 8) we have lost vacation time dealing with multiple visits because matching our cupboards was difficult from our original order. I actually have \spare\ unmatching doors In my basement as \left overs\? I highly recommend choosing another company so your kitchen doesnt cause stress like ours did.
