Candace designed and styled the most incredible new kitchen for my historical home. She helped us keep the character and charm and was able to design around all the inconveniences of an older home. It turned out more beautiful and functional than any of us imaged was possible for the space AND was all within our budget. She was a pleasure to work with and I will absolutely work with her again in the future.

We hired Candace to help us with our new build and we are so happy that we did! Firstly, she is incredibly accommodating, we were short on notice for our design centre meeting but she was able to accommodate us even with her busy schedule. Candace was extremely helpful, efficient and knowledgeable during our design centre appointment. She pays attention to detail and was quickly able to understand the things we like and were looking for. With that being said, she took this information and visualized our home for us. We love and appreciate how hands on she was and detailed with her suggestions for us ie: checking how certain colours and shades look in natural light. Candace was also great to advocate for us with certain things that the builder didn’t want to accommodate on at first. We would highly recommend Candace and are so looking forward to working with her in furnishing our home as well!!
We hired Candace for a Design Consultation for our small cottage and she exceeded our expectations. Her décor ideas and layout suggestions were brilliant, taking into consideration elements that we hadn't even considered. Candace came to my home for a design consultation. Our house is in need of an update, and Candace helped me confirm my choice of flooring and helped me choose paint colours. She took great care to look at the paint samples with me in various lights in each room to ensure that they were exactly what I was looking for. We discussed closet storage and furniture options. After the consultation, Candace sent me a helpful followup email with suggestions and links for furniture and lighting. Candace is personable, professional and has tremendous eye for detail. I highly recommend her.
When I started building my dream home, I had to make a lot of decisions by myself. It was going fine until I had to make my electrical floor plan and then I knew, I needed professional help. That is when I found Candace and I am so happy I did. Candace listened to my concerns and worked with me every step of the way. She was always respectful of my budget while supporting my design choices. Her attention to detail was exceptional and she walked me through every decision to make sure it was the best one for me. Now, Candace and I are working on furnishings and the finishing for my home and it’s exciting to see my vision for this home come together. My only regret is that I didn’t have Candace from the very beginning!!
We had Candace help us with a very small powder room make over. I wanted “bold wall paper” but did not want the hassle of leafing through books upon books, nor did I know anybody who could actually hang wall paper. Candace did the leg work, helped me find fixtures as well as hooked me up with a superior wall paper hanger. Great experience, easy and loved the finish product!
We hired Candace for a Design Centre Consultation. We recently purchased a new build home and were required to pick out certain interior finishes. We had been to the builder's design centre on our own a few times before hiring and meeting with Candace. We were overwhelmed with the selection of finishes that we had to choose from. In particular, I was afraid of choosing the wrong product, picking finishes that did not work with each other, or deciding that I did not like the chosen product(s) after install. Candace accommodated our schedule and met with us on short notice at the design centre on the weekend. She graciously drove to Ottawa to meet with us. She gave us confidence and reassurance during the time that we worked with her. She also helped us to relax and enjoy the process of picking out our interior finishes for our new home. Prior to meeting with Candace, we were finding that attempting to pick our interior finishes was extremely stressful and not enjoyable. Furthermore, Candace was conscientious of our financial budget and taste. She did not pressure us to choose a product that we did not love. She provided her professional opinion and advocated for us when communicating with the home builder. Because of Candace, we are excited to see the finished product that we will get to call home!
