The company is headquartered in the MassChallenge offices at Renens, at the heart of the Swiss start-up community in Vaud. Mission and scope: ALAnostics will develop best-in-class photosensitzers (tumour paint) for the photodetection of early stage breast cancer during breast conserving surgery. We aim to make the use of our tumour paint during breast conserving surgery the gold standard procedure within the next 5 years, preventing unnecessary mastectomies during secondary operations, reducing the re-operation rate, and ultimately saving patient lives.
