The staff seemed a little bit overwhelmed with too many customers as to why we had to wait almost an hour for our main courses (after the starters) but as an apology we got a very tasty amaretto on the house and we were able to pack our order for takeaway. The food was formidable, and the pizza fruti di mare was the most rich and tasteful I've ever eaten. Also they did not cut short on the garlic! Communication proved a bit difficult, but luckily Google translate was helping out. :-)

Very unfriendly place. We have an eight and four year old and tried to order a pizza for them to share. We have done this in numerous other restaurants in the region, without any problems. This has nothing to do with money, just that we know how little our children eat and ordering more phases them. We were told that we should order two children's pizzas instead as they are small. The meal arrived and the child's pizzas were in fact huge, approaching adult sized. This spurned a debate which lead to our waitress conceding it was policy not to allow sharing. When the bill arrived it transpired that child pizzas were only 1 euro less than an adults. We expressed disappointment to the manager and her explanation included reason that times were hard and they have bills to pay such as lighting etc. If this doesn't tell everything one should know about this establishment. Simply, they are not about good friendly, smart, accommodating service, which encourages repeat business. They are about maximising profit to the detriment of making a customer feel welcome. We paid and left and won't be returning. Poor, poor service. I would argue if times are hard, the intelligent play would be to be better, not try to fleece all you can from clients. We eat out a lot in this region and have many friends. For the sake of a few euros they have lost further custom.
Big portions average food. The service is ok but not too helpful.
