They are absolutely the best hatchery to get your chicks from. They have been great to me and my family farm. The chicks are great. The service is great. Try them I swear you will not be disappointed. I needed chicks sooner and trust that they went above and beyond, got them to me !!! I am grateful that someone else referred me To them. You should give Freedom Ranger Hatchery a try if you have not already. BTW, the prices are way better then the competition, plus the chicks are thrive.

We ordered 30 Freedom Ranger chicks this week. All arrived healthy and quite vigorous. My husband could hear them peeping as soon as he went into the post office to pick them up! We would definitely order from this company again.

I love this hatchery! We've been ordering from them for the past six years. Broilers are extremely healthy - we almost never lose a chick - and the Novogen layers are the best breed I've experienced. They're tough biddies, laying well into their third year, and the eggs are large and delicious. The customer service is EXCELLENT.

This is an amazing breed of birds, and my spouse's business raises them regularly. However, our experience ordering from them during the cold of winter was extremely heartbreaking. Heat packs were not included when shipping these birds during a polar vortex. All they put in was expanded kraft paper. We would have been happy pay for a heat pack if it was even an option. Almost half were dead on arrival, and most all didn't survive the next two days. We have 9 chicks left. We had a friend order from this same company, as well, and all 75 chicks were dead on arrival because of these shipping methods. Love the birds, but upset with the shipping considerations in dangerously cold weather because it led to such an needless loss of so many lives.

Top notch quality hatchery. Have had two batches from them so far with zero fatalities from shipping. The birds themselves are high quality...it’s a wonder they don’t charge more for them.
