The waiter was not really in a good mood. He was not really friendly.
Cool bar in a great spot in the plaza. They have a good variety of drinks. Unfortunately like most of restaurants in France they don't serve food after 14:30

Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Enjoyed a couple of visits there and very nice champagne.

Awful experience. I don't usually write bad reviews but the service we (a party or 5 including a pre-schooler) received from The George's was so bad, I'm making an exception. It all started off so well. Greeted warmly by the owner who moved some tables and pulled a parasol over for us to get shade. We ordered drinks and ordered food shortly after the drinks were delivered. We began to notice other tables (who arrived after us) were getting food before us. When we questioned this the owner said \two minutes\ and ran off towards the kitchen. He had obviously forgotten to put the order into the kitchen originally. He went out a side entrance to another table (trying to hide from us) but when we questioned him again he said \fifteen minutes\. We said no, it was too late as we had to get on the road to catch a ferry so we would pay for the drinks and leave. He started to get really angry and shouty. We paid for our drinks and left. Ended up going to a little sandwich place across the road to take food with us. Disgusted by the attitude of the owner. We were at The George's for just over 1 ¼ hours without getting fed. I understand mistakes happen from time to time. Had he been honest and apologetic we could have possibly waited 15 minutes, but because he was being so awful we weren't going to pay him a penny more than he deserved. Avoid.
