I waited 2 weeks for someone to come and measure up. This was the 2nd time as the new Malden store 'lost' my measurements. I then waited 2 weeks for the quote to come through and when it didn't I called the store who said they would chase it up and get back to me. A member of staff called me back and said they would continue to investigate as the measurements had been lost again. They said it had never happened before. I guess I am unlucky then! No call so after 3 days I called again. Same nonsense. Promises to look into it and get back to me. Promises to call back that night with some info. No one called me again to explain or rebook or say they had found my measurements. Considering I was having my whole house recarpeted it was quite a big order. I guess they can afford to throw thousands of pounds worth of business away. Terrible customer service. If I could give 0 stars I could.

There is a very large selection of products to chose from and the prices are all honest. The staff are usually ready to help if needed, and give information on or help find products throughout the store.
Avoid this store! I had a stair runner fitted (via Reigate store) at the beginning of November and although the quality of the carpet is great, the fitting service was just appalling. I have to say that until I placed the order with Carpetright their customer service was great. Once I paid for the carpet communication almost stopped and I had to chase up confirmation of fitting etc. I also asked for an experienced team to complete the works to avoid dissatisfaction. Unfortunately the fitters that were sent to me were on contract and recently started working for Carpetright. Carpetright doesn't use their own team of fitters. The quality of craftsmanship just isn't there. The guys that turned up rushed so much it was worrying. My stair runner was fitted within 45 min. Result is uneven gaps, cracks in my stairs, and lack of communication from Reigate store for a month after I reported my dissatisfaction. Unfortunately I will not recommend this company to anyone, and I truly regret I didn't go with someone local. I made a mistake by going to Carpetright store for the convenience of having a huge choice of product and a chance of seeing samples etc. Sales team is very on point there and knows how to lure you to purchase. My mistake. It cost me extra to fix the damage the fitters caused and as Reigate store manager Rochan wasn't getting back to me I decided to pay someone else and have my runner fixed before Christmas. The store's new manager Nick contacted me after Christmas offering to send fitters back to me to carry out repairs, however it is too late now to do that. They however don't want to offer me a partial refund for the cost and inconvenience they caused. Will not use this cheap high street brand ever again.
Do not buy from this company!! Took 2.5 months to arrange fitting of a door bar that I had paid for still hasn't been fitted!! So carpet is now fraying. Promises of call backs that never materialise. There only saving grace is Caroline, who is very helpful other employees have a can't be bothered, don't care attitude.
Honestly a shambles! Barely respond to you and if they do they quote for the totally wrong items and budget. They really dont seem to have a clue what they are doing to be honest.
