I found my time at Rehamed to be always a pleasure. Everyone is very friendly and professional. From the staff in reception to the physiotherapists. I found it easy to make appointments and they were very flexible with times. They have the right equipment to treat patients and the facilities are quality. The physios I had were amazing at what they do and always put a smile on my face. I always felt confident of a full recovery when I was there. I can highly recommend Rehamed to anyone needing Physiotherapie.

The Patient

Back to Heidelberg. Rehamed Heidelberg, a very competent institution. The therapists and doctors are very friendly with great medical knowledge. Either you are Arabic, Russian or Japanese, someone is speaking your language. The internationality there is big written! There is no rasism as one other claimed in his articles. As a foreign patient you feel acceptance where ever you come from.

Had to review twice to show my discontent. Staff threatened to call the police because I questioned why a report containing my personal information costed 100 euros! In the United States at least this is illegal. I was expected to pay this amount for a fully German report, and I needed this in order for me to complete my treatment elsewhere. All these people care about is money, the staff is the most unprofessional bunch I have ever seen and are frankly racist. When asked for the manager, he approached me, not even introducing himself, deameningly saying « What’s the problem? » The seem to expect every Arab to pay willingly and blindly for everything they ask for. They referred to me as an « Arabic » patient as a justification for some of the processes, what does that mean?? If you are not German, please don’t come here. It’s too bad because therapists aren’t bad, despite the fact that their English is limited. Booking appointments at Rehamed is like trying to book at the most exclusive VIP hotel, and it really isn’t such! The atmosphere is honestly depressing. Some sessions are as short as 20 minutes! And half of that time is spent trying to understand what these people are saying. The staff is unpleasant to deal with, and in my opinion the patient is treated as nothing more than a source of income. Funnily enough, they have a 4.7/5 on Facebook, apparently some people like being treated like a piece of meat! I can’t believe that Heidelberg University reccomended this place...
