My first impression of this store was not a good one but it was my last dress shop and I still hadn't found anything. Once in the store I found it very crowded and hard to view the dresses on the racks. We were told by the sales lady to "help ourselves", she didn't ask what I was looking for or offer any help in selecting dresses for me. I found a dress I really liked and she measured me, which is about all she did while I was there. My dress was over a month late arriving and when I called to check on the status of the dress, my calls weren't answered or returned. I had to stop by the shop and then all I got were excuses. I also ordered my daughters dress from here and the sales lady wrote right on my copy of the receipt, "Will be here first week in May." I called for two weeks and drove by everyday and the store was closed. When she finally called me to say the dress was in on May 30th, she denied saying it would be in the first week of May. I have it in her own writing!!! Her lack of communication with her clients is profoundly unprofessional. You spend that kind of money on a dress, you expect a little more from the store. You definitely don't get that from Wedding Trendz. Do yourself a favour and pass this store by! Not worth the stress!

I waited quite a while before being helped when I first went in. I tried on a few dresses but the woman wasn't around to help me in and out of them. My bridesmaids did most of that. She also didn't choose or offer dresses for me to try. I felt the service to be very indifferent. My bridesmaids found dresses they liked so we ordered from Wedding Trendz even though I wasn't very impressed. There was no communication from the shop, even when the dresses didn't arrive as scheduled. I contacted the shop several times, asking about them. My calls were rarely returned and the first few times they didn't even know who I was. The dresses arrived a month late and were way too big. The alterations were complicated (the dresses had boning and padding in the bodice) and my bridesmaids weren't able to come into the city until 3 days before my wedding. I asked for a refund and the manager and owner both refused. The best they offered was a refund for the rush shipping and same-day alterations which I would have to pay for. I asked for a measuring tape to show that the measurements of the dresses were not even close to the measurements taken from my sisters 6 months earlier. The owner said it was not in his contract to provide measuring tapes. We took the dresses home. There are a lot of other wedding shops in Regina. I agree with the first review - skip this shop and save yourself the stress.
I was not overly impressed with Wedding Trendz. The store was small, the mirror was too close to the couches, and there wasn't a very large selection. With the mirror being so close to the couch, it was hard to back up and see how everything looked and I don't think I got a good idea of how I looked in the dresses. The sales woman, who was nice enough, just let us go off and do our own thing and didn't make any suggestions as to what she thought I'd look good in. I went to another store and the saleswoman managed to pick the dress I loved the most on her first try. Being that I wasn't too sure of what I wanted it was very important to have the sales person involved, and you really don't get that at Wedding Trendz. There wasn't a very large selection, and the one dress I wanted to take was only available as the sample dress and it was in very poor condition. Needless to say, I left there without a dress and bought somewhere else. I would advise anyone to give this store a skip.
