The manager at Midas Central is the best mechanic I've met in years. He treats you like family but with a professional attitude. He makes me feel important and he'll do the same for you. He has no issues trying to find a way to explain things in terms YOU understand.

I visited Midas Alert Street 1839 Albert st, Regina for Oil Change services, already booked an appointment few days back. I wanted to consult some professional and make up my mind for my vehicle for some other services, which I thought should be done but after initial consultation. I was on reception asking questions when Manager operations Mr. Jarrod Callan (He introduced) intervened and told me that he is the right person to consult. As I asked him questions about my specific condition, he said it will take money to advice anything. Which I refused as at the moment I had less knowledge about the topic and couldn't decide. When I refused, he almost yelled on me that I am wasting his time and he has to do a lot of work. Refusal to services was ok ( if that were paid) but the behavior was so un- professional and insulting. I could never expect this attitude anywhere. Anyways, I told the person on reception to do the oil change only, it took approx. 40 mins and I prefer to stand outside the office, was not comfortable there. After sometimes, manager showed again with the chair that I can sit and if I pay them money he can listen. I refused any further services for my car and dealing with him especially... This incident gave me an impression that this business has no respect to the customers and insulting them is an ok norm there... very disappointing !!
This is the only place I take my vehicle's! They have on every occasion been honest and upfront.
After visiting this place, I keep trying to find out who the owner is because they need to get the operations manager in a training program on customer service and professionalism. This guy is outrageous, honestly. Shouting conversations, condescending tone, rude, and downright disgusting encounter. I don't care what type of journeyman qualification you have, if you are providing a service, CUSTOMER SERVICE must be in your interactions. Absolutely horrifying experience.
Service is good. Staff seem to be friendly. If they suggest more work, get a second opinion. Suggest a lot of things that really aren't necessary

The shop manager at this location Jarred Callen is one of the most childish sensitive people I have ever met . Threatening to call the police and then following through with it because we had an argument ? I was already never going to come back to this location after you tried to rip off my elderly father in law and charged him over 3 times what was quoted originally. Do not go to this Midas if you value your time or money . I have dealt with the Midas on North Albert st and they are 100x the shop that this sad excuse is . I repeat do not visit the south Midas ,please save yourself the agony of having to deal with Jarred Callen .
