Purchased a handbag which the clerk assured me was leather. I would not have been interested if it was vinyl or plastic as it was quite expensive. Upon getting it home and under closer inspection I realized it was not leather. I returned it in less than a week and could not get a refund. The same clerk (owner?) would only let me exchange it for other merchandise. Fine. I found something for 15.00 less than I had spent but that wasn't good enough it had to be the full amount. Lesson learned : check store policy on returns and DO NOT believe anything this store tells you. Also, I paid with debit and the only receipt given was from the debit machine - no store receipt. Canada revenue might want to check their bookkeeping.
