We stayed at the hotel and liked the look of the menu on the wall in the lift so we gave it a try. We asked at reception and were told it opens at 7pm (we hoped for a sooner table) but they offered to allow us in early...the waitress seemed a little disgruntled at this as she wasn't the friendliest to begin with but was soon more hospitable. The food was excellent - we had the steak and the steak pie, both meals came quickly and were hot and obviously homemade. The pudding choices were good - we both went with the sticky toffee sponge, again seemed homemade, and delicious while not too rich and filling. Portion sizes were good and prices reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely recommend this to other people!
