Doormen are too strict. I've gone into Reflex with my own genuine ID and doormen have stopped me at door, quizzed me... I've answered all his questions correctly because it's my actual ID with my real info. To this day I don't know what this guy's problem was, the venue was empty and the doormen are trying to chase only customers interested in getting in. Anyway he allowed me and large group I was with entry but then went out of his way to tell Bar staff not to serve me alcohol. I was really embarrassed, I'd of preferred to be denied entry. No one is going to Reflex for it's décor or glass, I'm going for an alcoholic drink with a few mates. This was a few years ago, I've not been in since...

Music's good, drinks are cheap well cheap for a night club anyway, staff are friendly. After everyone has been dancing for a while the floor becomes more like superglue than a dance floor but it's all part of the fun. It's a really fun night club.

Well it used to be called Rumours. It was better when it first changed in to a pub. Seems a bit more tacky now. But it had a good crowd early on and we stayed for quite a few pints. DJ well they need a good one. But its they same old argument is it about selling beer or having good music on well good music will attract more and sell more beer. But it's a good laugh because of the people. A lick of paint re format dance floor a bit and perhaps one long mega bar and an great interactive floor filling DJ would be good with other off shoot dance areas.
