Steve and his son (also Steve) have completed a number of woodwork repair jobs on the exterior of an 18th century listed building. They’ve carefully replaced rotten sections on a like for like basis paying great attention to detail making a number of intricate matching features. I found Steve via his website and during the course of this job I have come to respect both Steve and his son as skilful craftsmen with an eye for detail and able to carry out their brief to a very high standard. They clean up on a daily basis and they both have a most engaging and helpful manner. Importantly they completed the job on time and were able to accurately describe the extent of the job in their quote and carry out the works as specified without creating ‘extras’ I was very pleased with the finished result ... it exceeded my expectations in all respects. I’ve no hesitation in recommending them both for a range of carpentry jobs. I shall definitely be having them back for further work
