I saw there was a screw stuck in my rear ‘run flat’ tyre. I thought maybe it could be repaired but wasn’t hopeful, although with the screw in I wasn’t losing any air. I went to ATS in Truro for some advice and they said I needed a new tyre ( by looking at a photo on my phone even though my car was parked outside their garage)! Anyway, they didn’t have any run flats at all in stock said no ATS in the SW had any for my car. I then ordered a new one online from Kwick-Fit in Redruth at a very good price which they could fit today. The guys there at Kwikfit examined my tyre and removed the screw.... They then tested the tyre for leakages and explained it was a very short screw and I didn’t need a new tyre! Could easily have just replaced it anyway and I’d have been 200 out of pocket. Nice to have some honest service and I will definitely use them when I actually do need new tyres. Thanks
Pre booked and paid on line for 2 new Pirelli tyres. Car taken straight in and tyres replaced. Very friendly staff and very efficient. Would definitely use again.
