There's a general awkwardness to the Comic Stop. The shop owner doesn't greet you when you walk in (which makes for a very poor first impression). He just watches you, but you're not sure if he's looking at you or not because you're too uncomfortable to turn around. It gives you the feeling that you're stealing and makes you want to get out.. but being stared at makes you afraid to leave.. it's not a pleasant atmosphere. The selection is satisfying. They've got the traditional fare but also a huge number of "indie" comics - the ones that don't star superheroes, and with more experimental cover art. (Unfortunately, I didn't find any with truly unusual graphical styles within). It's refreshing to see some alternative comics, though. They've also got some other merchandise, like board games, graphic novels, and manga. Thankfully these wares extend beyond the strictly comic universe to franchises like Doctor Who and World of Warcraft, as well as general geeky items. I picked up "God is Disappointed in You," a witty interpretation of the Bible. The facilities are clean and they've got a good assortment of products, and better service would make this a five.

Wonderful customer service. The gentleman working the front desk could not wait to get me into a Swamp Thing and Animal Man comic. Maybe in my next go through, i will pick them up.
Great collection! Lots of interesting stuff cannot find anywhere else!
And OK selection of products. Try to buy a present for a friend from here, only to find out he already had it. I was disappointed that they had a no refund policy. Employees are nice though.
They have the worst service here for a comic store. You'd think they would be more enthusiastic to help people wanting to learn more about the hobby. Don't come here, you'll leave discouraged and empty handed
The poor customer service is one reason I probably won't be back. No one asked if they could help me at all and when I attempted to get their attention to ask some questions the cashier seemed all together indifferent. The layout of the store and the selection is fine, but when you act as if you couldn't care less if I was shopping or not it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Nice place to browse and possibly add something to your collection. The staff are very friendly.
Bad selection, only gets the largest titles. Horrid selection of graphic novels, most of their stuff is overpriced figures and merchandise. If you wanna buy a Batman shot glass for 10 then this is youre place.
