I have worked with Chris on a project for a business I briefly ran. At the commencement of the business’ life, we were in need of a logo that would represent our brand, together with a set of wireframes for the related website. Having no idea where to begin, I instructed Chris with a very basic brief. This consisted of a basic description of our business, and an overview of how I envisaged the website looking, hence he had limited material to work with. Within a relatively short period of time, Chris had designed a logo that perfectly represented what I wanted our business to “look” like, together with a very logical and attractive set of wireframes. What really impressed me about the work (especially the logo), was how Chris had taken the limited information I gave him, and developed that into something that clearly encapsulated what I had struggled to verbalise. Chris is extremely good at reading both verbal and non-verbal cues, and is able to interpret them very well, making him an excellent asset. I felt that I had given him almost nothing to work with, but he had picked up what I was after without my realising it. Not only that, but Chris’ easy-going personality and professional nature makes him a pleasure to work with. The fact that he had prepared the work with the limited information given also shows that he is very much a self-starter, capable of working without the need for much support.
