I cannot praise Gem and her cakes high enough!!!! We found her through our wedding venue, and emailed her to discuss cake flavours. She was very kind and listened to everything we wanted before inviting us to her home to try sample cupcakes. Once we decided on flavours (carrot cake, salted caramel and victoria sponge in case anyone wanted recommendations on what we liked best!!) Gem listened to us as we explained two separate cake designs we found online that we wanted to combine. And wow, she delivered it perfectly! She helped us further by lending us a beautiful cake stand to put the cake on too. The cake may be the best cake I've ever tried in my life, and stayed moist for well over a week after the wedding. We had plenty of cake to give to all our loved ones. I truly mean it when I say this woman is a genius when it comes to cake, and you'd be mad not to pick her for your cake needs!

Gem was great with us from the start of the process to the very end. She was always available to answer questions and on our wedding day fully communicated with the venue to make sure the cake was at it's best in the heatwave. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. We had chocolate and carrot cake tiers which were delicious.

Gem was first recommended to us through Hartsfield Manor as one of the recommended suppliers. We first contacted her about 9 months prior to our wedding, and ended up going to taste some cake. We ended up trying 6 flavours, and settled on 3, one for each tier. Gem had some cakes displayed and we got to pick and choose what we liked and ended up with a gorgeous 3 tiered cake with sugar flowers running down the side. On the day Gem set up our wedding cake early in the morning, and guests were commenting on how gorgeous the cake looked all day. When it came to actually eating the cake, it was absolutely delicious and everyone ended up going for more. Gem was always laid back but also very professional. It was a delight to work with her, and we would highly recommend her!

The beautiful simplicity of the design, the depth of the flavours and the homemade texture are outstanding. My parents are so happy and emotional to have such a marvellous cake and mum wants to keep the icing roses you made with the mementos from their wedding cake. Thank you Gem.
