Good for kids
Nice woodland area with loads of cool wooden animal sculptures around the trail. Den building is also a possibility here so a good place to go with kids.

Nice little woodland with a sculpture trail and a beautiful wild meadow at the end of the hard path.
A lovely little woodland area that is maintained by volunteers. You can have a short amble around it, beware it cave be very muddy in the winter, although one side there's a path. There's some wonderful wooden carvings to spot too and a couple of dog poo bins in the adjacent green.
Small wood with a walking path through it. There are walks beyond the wood but can be muddy and are limited by the overhead motorway nearby. Surprisingly quiet. Easy parking on the road.
Best wood ever there are tracks everywhere and it's a really fun place when I went with my class we learned great woodland skills and had fun playing and building send and toasted marshmallows round a mini campfire it's a woodland that shows great opportunity for fun and learning I recommend furzefield wood to anyone and if you go have fun but please just make sure you bring a pair of wellies and an extra pair of socks
