They did a fine job it’s just that they charged 34 to dry clean a dress. Not a wedding dress, but an evening dress. That just seems outrageous to me. I should have asked before I dropped the dress off. Shop around—
We had a memorial for my dad last week. He was a WWII Navy veteran. My son is still active Navy Reserves; my nephew is Navy Chief Petty Officer, Retired. There was mix up with their uniforms at the base at the last minute. When they got here, they needed to be pressed in a hurry. Uwe saw to it that he and his employee got those uniforms done as fast as possible and we were not late to the memorial. I was humbled at their generosity of time as they came in early to get those uniforms done. I will be forever grateful to their work ethic, customer service and respect to our Navy family. Good cleaners with great service. Only issue is hours 8-5 M-F; makes it difficult to get to them.
Shop around! I took 3 sets of drapes in for cleaning. I asked about cost and owner said he’d call me with information. When I picked up the drapes the cost was 787.50!! I could have bought new ones for that price. He charges 8.75 per pleat. After the fact I called two other cleaners in town, one charges 3.50 per pleat and the other charges 3.80 per pleat. I had done business here before because it’s close to where I live. Never again!!
