I have been trying to get a hold of them for 3 weeks now. I have waited on hold as long as I am able to considering I have a teething baby who cries a lot. I leave messages and no one calls back. I am ready to try calling Burney's Newspaper for my ad at this point. Ughh

I’m very unhappy with the D.A.T..E. part of your paper. Some years ago I could look in the DATE and find a very comprehensive list of things that were going on in the Redding area. Now you have condensed it down to 10 events. I know for a fact that there are more then 10 events happening in the area. No matter how many are submitted to you, you ONLY list 10. I’ve suggested that people submit their events to the DATE and they tell me they do, but they take the time to submit an event and then you don’t list it. Who are you to decide which of the many events that are submitted should be the 10 you list? I liked the old DATE, when I could pick it up and it was the place to go to find out what was happening for the week. I guess I will just have to pick up the FREE After 5 paper.

This is in regards to a 30 year metropolitan firefighter and his opinion of the President. I can give you names of retired forestry firefighters that say exactly the opposite of this guy. They retired early because they saw this and California politics sent money elsewhere. I’d rather you give me information on where the fires are and if I should expect to lose my power in this wind. Not your political garbage. You couldn’t even wait until the fire is out when people are suffering. I want facts! Not a opinion, tell us what’s going on so we may know what to expect. The news use to save lives and now you just try to shape them.
