Put in a request to have our yard marked for digging and they came right out and got it done. They were kind and informative. We have had REU for years now and they are always friendly and prompt.

Seeing that Redding is a relatively small community, I would like to give this outfit a five-stars review, but when I called to get help with solar panel questions, they told me they had to email their solar department folks before I could even talk to someone. What's up with that? I'm trying to get something done and I'm thrown into a black hole of government bureaucracy hoping that I will get a phone call at some point in the next couple of hours. Two and a half hours. No phone call. Okay, I just got off the phone with their solar representative. He was a very nice guy with a wealth of information. I'm going to leave the review at three stars just because I feel that customer service should be faster than three hours. Especially if it's their standard protocol to utilize email and not transfer you to the proper individual in charge. Maybe I'm old school, but I like to talk to people in person and not just get thrown down a black hole of time and space.
I dislike how the only service you can get in some areas are only REU. I cant even hookup to PG&E or anyone else, it's like they have a monopoly on power in Redding.... Their prices are completely rediculous, highway robbery. If other power companies were allowed to run their business up here everyone would switch.
I have been having problems with my water pressure I let REU know yesterday morning. They had an REU employee show up shortly afte. He told me I had a bad water presssure regulator. I contacyed a plumber, and the issue was resolved yesterday. A BIG Thanks REU!
Trying to report an outage is so ridiculous. Only a phone number to call, it's 2020 put a button on the website for that.
