Amazing food! Went there for my cousins birthday and enjoyed it. The waiters were very nice and always asking in kind, proper ways. With us we’re my younger cousins (5-7) and they were being loud and annoying, yet the waiters were very patient with them. The price was definitely worth the wait. I wish to be returning soon! Keep up the good work.

Only good thing is the Ceasar salad and that is touch and go depending on your waiter and how he makes. Sauce is OK. Pasta is always over cooked. Chicken is bland.

Nello's food was fantastic. The rating is due to service. Slow is an understatement. But overall great place. Will visit again but not during dinner rush hour.

Tonight I had spaghetti garlic toast clam chowder with all the sections what a wonderful delightful meal very filling. Nicole where's my waitress she was phenomenal very attentive thank you for the great service.

This might be considered a "high-end", quality restaurant here in Redding, but in a bigger, more sophisticated city Nello's would be just another overpriced, mediocre phsedo Italian restaurant. I went there with two of my sons, their wives and a friend of theirs for a birthday celebration. Our waiter was a millennial and acted as if he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. Whenever I thanked him for doing something that was a part of his job he would say, "No problem." I know it's not a problem, it's your job! A truly professional waiter would say something like, "My pleasure" or just "you're welcome". I ordered a Bloody Mary for starters and it was just okay, a little thin and no depth to it. My entree came with sauteed shrimp, veal and scallops. The shrimp (3) were small for an entree, the breaded veal was thin, tough, and soggy while the scallops were cut in half and then covered in cheese. For over 30 (my total share of the bill was 75 including tip) I expected better. I have dined at many fine Italian restaurants throughout the country and, in my opinion, this is not one of them.

Amazing place to go to. If you have not experienced this to die for place then your missing out. New flavors that hit my tastebuds and fell in love. Great place for an anniversary. Place is amazing and romantic verry clean and servers are in top of everything.
