This review is NOT for the food quality, food is exceptional. Their service, extremely subpar. I normally order delivery so I don’t have to go inside and experience their poor service, unfortunately today the delivery was not working so I ordered curbside instead. My order was supposed to be ready around 6:15, I got there around 6:20, parked, called in and they said they would get my order and be right out. I waited 10 minuted without my order, I decided to call them again, no answer. Okay, I head inside. I talk to the employee at the counter and receive my pizza, which apparently had been done for a while so the communication was not there. I ordered a creme soda as well, I went to go grab it and there were none in the case so I left without it because at this point I was just wanting to head home. Important note; this is not the only bad experience I have had with employees at this MOD. The training is obviously lacking in the service department. Not necessarily the employees fault if they aren’t trained correctly then they are unable to perform adequately. It’s frustrated me enough that tonight was my final visit at this Mod location. Unfortunate because they rarely mess up on the pizza orders. More training is definitely necessary to ensure positive customer relations.

Not sure what happened to our pizza but it definitely does not look like other pics in these reviews. After driving for 9 hours, we grabbed some Mod pizzas and a salad to go. When we opened them up in our hotel room, we were very disappointed. Our pizza looked like it had about half of the ingredients of a normal pizza. Our salad was supposed to have balsamic dressing and was completely dry. We weren't about to go back out after driving all day to get it corrected. Disappointing.
To be perfectly honest I didn't love the pizza. The crust is terrible, it was very thin and burnt on the bottom. I thought i was getting a good deal because their largest size is only 11. But now i see why it's so cheap, you get paper thin crust and barely any toppings. As for the toppings, everything tasted good. The Canadian bacon they use is delicious. I think I'm just going to make my own pizza from now on, it's a lot of work but worth it!
Hard to eat inside right now. Charis are all put away and so having more than 2 people is a bit hard. But it's not impossible. Still great pizza like always even if they don't have the garlic butter as a topping any more.
MOD is my go to lunch place when I'm busy running errands in the area! I love the atmosphere and how nice and helpful everyone there is! The pizza is always amazing, and you can't beat the price when it comes to the quality and variety that you have available. I'll keep coming back, I love it here!
We have been there twice now both times were fantastic. Here are my top ten reason why Mod Pizza is Great 1. The Gluten fee crust tastes great 2. The cauliflower crust also Gluten Free us amazing 3. The topping selection is excellent 4. The MOD radio station is FREE and I have a link to listen to it all the time on my phone because it is that GOOD 5. Bathroom is clean 6. Service is fast 7. Friendly helpful people woking there 8. My daily of 4 can eat there for under 30.00 and be stuffed 9. They even have dessert. 10. Close to all the Redding shopping stops we go to when we come from Weaverville once a month.
Food is great but the service could have been better. I remember the first few times we went there the servers always asked you what types if toppings u wanted and so forth, but this last visit it was like pulling teeth to get toppings?
I absolutely love that I can create my own unique pizza with whatever toppings I want and it's the same price. It's amazing tasting and great quality food. I love that they have juice and tea along with soda. One of my new favorites too eat at!
