The breakfast was out of this world... Amazing food. Wonderful staff. Be sure you come hungry, the portions are huge.
I definitely recommend Lulu's. I ordered Fish and Chips and it was fantastic! The fish was fresh and deep-fried to perfection in an even coating of fresh batter; it wasn't too thick, wasn't too thin, and no excess moisture or oil soaking the meat. The fries were also cooked perfectly and well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. We had reserved a table away from other diners for extra privacy and had a room almost entirely to ourselves for most of our meal though a large group was brought in near the end of our visit when we stayed slightly longer than anticipated. Last but not least, the service was prompt and friendly.
Lulu's has great food. The people who work there are really great people. The place is clean. What more does a person want. I walk away with a smile on my face when I leave there.
shout out to Lulu's who has ignored my messages. I interviewed there last April. in the interview I was asked if I had kids, I was asked if I was married and I was asked about my family in the area. I should have addressed it immediately but alas, I was really needing a job and didn't want to ruin my chances. So it would be a good idea for Lulu's to review their interviewing practices so 1) they are not discriminating against people due to their answers and 2) they don't get sued. It is illegal to discriminate people based on these things and its illegal to ask about them in an interview. It's possible that my answers to those questions are the reason I didn't get hired and that is not okay. Society at large would appreciate it if they would review their interviewing practices and update them accordingly.
One of the most wonderful little gems in Redding! Super nice staff, great atmosphere, amazing food and just overall a fantastic experience. Will definitely be coming back for more! Clam chowder is INCREDIBLE!
Love this place. Got fried chicken w/ mashed potatos & gravy. Salad. Always am satisfied every time I eat & drink there. Like the atmosphere of the bar. Dark red leather booths. Fireplace. Games on several screens. Friendly
Old school vibe. Such a killer spot, especially for weekend breakfast and drinks. I've never not had a great time here.
