DR Eickhoff is excellent in person But good luck dealing with his assistant Linda or getting timely refills on prescriptions. Every interaction I've had with Linda, shes been extremely condescending, dismissive and incompetent When asked for a consult with the doctor about a change in my symptoms (I was bleeding stool and.vomiting regularly every morning) I was challenged about my eating habits (which hadn't changed in 7 years) and told to make sure I wasnt eating raw vegetables. She lost records I had provided previously from my diagnosis colonoscopy and took a week to photocopy records into 'new files'. On several occassions while living in Redding and having Eickhoff as my GI my ulcerative colitis medication was refilled late or took several days for their antiquated system of reauthorization to catch u . Several times those requests were "lost" in their filing system and the office informed me those all landed in Linda's inbox. I went days and weeks without medication due to her incompetence with email When I moved cities and called to.confirm.my new address and change.of pharmacy they kicked me off the patient list and I've been half rationing my medication until my new employers insurance kicked in Eickhoff is great but good luck with his assistant
Incredible experience. I was terrified, as I have severe anxiety disorder, but can honestly say ive never felt so comfortable, before a procedure, ever in my life. Dr. Eickoffs staff was incredibly kind, thorough & understanding of my issues. While Dr. Eickoff was so calm, comforting & gave off this "nonintrusive" vibe which is a great feeling when your about to have some kind of scope inside of you. All in all it was a much better experience than i expected it to be. Thanks to Dr. Eickoff & his staff!
