The individual at the Anderson lab who last drew my labs was kind and wonderful! Today, that lab was closed but there was no sign nor was the website nor voice message updated. The first person I spoke to at another labcorp was totally understanding of my frustration, but the technician at the Gold St location was rude and insensitive and she stuck me hard. She blamed the no sign as a result of angry customers - really?? An apology would have been sufficient rather than blame customers. Customer service is so critical in health care and so important to put the patient at ease because one never knows WHY that patient is getting labs drawn for. Show some sensitivity please even if the patient is frustrated because that patient may have good reason and may have a critical health condition

These people were absolutely great and awesome after my blood was drawn I started feeling sick and I was sweating and so super scared. I couldn’t open my hand either and I felt so nauseated The main guy that works there was so very knowledgeable and told me exactly what was happening to me gave me water and kept checking on me and even walked me out with my mom. The service and hospitality was above and beyond! If I have to go again I would go here! Getting your blood drawn can be scary so it’s good to have someone you can trust.

I’ve been aware of the slow decline in customer service in general for many years now and I rarely complain, but this was by far the worse I’ve experienced. The was a waiting room full of people and the staff could be heard laughing in the back though nobody had been taken back there yet and there wasn’t any help at the desk. After ten long minutes of this, a man comes out and speaks to all of us. He was extremely rude, demanding and, when asked a question made the person asking feel like a berated child. I was absolutely flabbergasted. So much so that I got up and left before getting my blood drawn, which I’d fasted for. I noticed several others filling me out. Horrible! I will not be doing back.

I had a very great experience at this LabCorp. I’ve been to many others and this is by far the best one I have walked into. Tracy was an absolute angel. I usually pass out and throw up when giving blood and under her care I didn’t neither. Thanks Tracy!!!!

Short staff, long waiting time , no hand sanitizer available in the waiting room, no one able to clean the chair after someone was sitting in it !

I went in to lab Corp on gold street for a glucose blood test during pregnancy. This location closes at 6:00pm and I showed up at 5:15pm as a walk in. The lady working front desk was named Tracy. I asked for help using the check in kiosk and she was rude and hesitant to help me. I was the only patient there, so it is not like she was swamped with work and her getting up and helping me was a lot to ask. After she saw what my visit was for she called me rude and told me that she was off at 6:00pm and told me to show up earlier next pregnancy. I was so shocked by that remark. This was service I would expect from a teen at their first job, but not from someone working in the medical field. After I checked in she called her co-worker, Marissa, over and showed her my lab order information and said “check this out” and then started to laugh. The expression on Hannah’s face showed that she was embarrassed of Tracy’s unprofessional behavior. When it was time for my blood draw Hannah called me back and was extremely kind. I was very pleased from the kindness I and professionalism I received from Hannah, but do not believe Tracy should be working in a customer facing position.
