5 Kids certified in just 2 days of great instruction! Thank you Chandler and Brad for being so wonderful with the kids. Love the store layout and diving history. Supper helpful staff and the owner went above and beyond to help get the right gear!!!

The owner is a wonderful guy who was extremely helpful. He got my sister and I set up and fitted for a pair of Ocean Reef full face snorkel masks. Our visit was full of laughs and fun. I would highly recommend Howell Dive Shop for all of your diving and snorkeling needs.

Nothing but a great experience becoming open water certified at Howells. Rich in the shop was very helpful and his equipment rental gear was in excellent shape. Steve our scuba instructor made our dream to become a scuba diver possible. Steve made what seemed like a daunting challenge an enjoyable, relaxing event. He was very intuitive and made learning the skills easier to understand, and almost second nature when finished. Furthermore Steve went above and beyond, spending and extra to make sure we we're certified and comfortable diving. I would highly recommend Howells dive shop to anyone curious of becoming a scuba diver in the north state.

Rich and Ray are awesome. So much knowledge here and very helpful. They're willing to deal. High quality products with scuba and skin diving and a wealth of knowledge about finding local gold. Abalone packages are cheap and its just a cool location to check out if you like getting gold or diving. A must see shop if you're in Redding.

Ray helped me out, got me set up with gear for a snorkeling trip and it only took about ten minutes. Really nice guy and seems to really know his stuff. BTW: I saw another reviewer who said this isn't an art supply store, that it needed to be reclassified... Turns out it IS an art supply store! He had a section with brushes, paints, paper, etc. Just a little extra FYI for anyone else who's wondering.
