4.99 a gallon. I guess these people think a bunch of billionaires live in these hills. This is well on double what almost all other area propane dealers charge. Definitely changing providers.

Terrible service. Can't reach anyone from the local office, which is closed to customers, their number once you call it transfers you to an automated system, which then transfers you to a remote phone tech. I do not recommend AmeriGas as a provider.
Terrible service. I call them when I want a delivery because if you allow them to deliver when they want to, you get charged for unneeded deliveries. They told me to call when my tank gets down to 20%. They tell you they will arrive in 7-10 days. 14 days later they still haven't shown up, and can't tell me when they will show up. My entire house runs on propane and the tank is almost empty. If it empties, I am required by law to have my heating system, oven and hot water heater all tested. I will have to pay Amerigas 70 to do that, before they will re-fill my tank. This is the second year this has happened. If my tank runs out, I will cancel my service and tell them to remove the tank. I shopped around, and can get better service and cheaper prices locally.
Nightmare experience dealing with this company. All their local offices are closed due to covid. Their customer service is an endless loop of passing the buck, you cannot speak to a supervisor, a field technician, or anyone who can get anything done.They will leave your gas lines half installed and install one piece a month for 3 months, meanwhile charging you for the propane, the tank rental and every time they drive out is an additional charge even if they “forget the tools” they needed. Do not do business with these people! You have been warned!
This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. 39 different phone calls, over 50 different people spoken to on the phone, Over 25 hours spent on the phone since November 15th 6 different appointments set and only one time have they shown up and it was for 15 minutes, still no resolution.
