Too many volunteers not knowing what they are doing. I used to volunteer at the Guisborough office back in 2004 to 2006 and was treated like dirt by the then manager Dennis Ramsey, and the other volunteers, most notably Sean Askew. I was supposed to do admin work and take people's details, but in reality, I was just a tea boy, making the hot drinks for the staff and volunteers. If the office got too busy, they would close early and turn people away. They were appalling to work for and are useless at trying to help you. Redcar and Cleveland Citizens Advice Bureau needs an overhaul. Try the internet instead, as you can get the information you need for most queries.

Great place to visit. Such lovely people. I can’t believe some people moan about waiting to be seen. It’s a charity run by volunteers. They give up their time for free to help people. Can’t please everyone. But I’m very pleased.
So much help and support. Emotionally and practically. With you every step and they know people who can provide extra help like Step Forward. Do go!!!
Attended a pre booked appointment this week with a member of staff at the Redcar office . The lady was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with so much helpful information. I became upset during the appointment and was treated with such kindness. I have been given a follow up appointment to help with other issues. I can’t recommend this service enough ....loads of information available and really lovely and helpful people.
Nice new place not much good for getting a wheelchair in waited at back door for so long for someone to let us in
